Update: 2019-07-01 07:03 GMT
In the first half of 2019, There were few hits and many misses in the Telugu Film Industry. Some of the crazy projects have bitten dust but few low/medium budget films performed beyond the expectations.

January:

Sankranthi Season: NTR - Kathanayakudu ended as a disaster. High-budget 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' had underperformed. 'F2' hit the bull's eye and made the most out of the festive season.

Mr.Majnu starring Akhil Akkineni couldn't live up to the standards set by 'Tholi Prema' even though both the films were directed by Venky Atluri.

February:

Yatra hadn't only received critical acclaim but also performed decently at the Box Office. Overall, It's a profitable film for the Producers.

NTR - Mahanayakudu: Failure of Part 1 made the survival of Part 2 very difficult. This movie ended up as a biggest failure in the career of Balakrishna.

None of the other films released in this Month have been able to be decent hits.

March:

Kalyan Ram-starrer '118' became a successful film. Lakshmi's NTR succeeded in getting good openings when it released all over the World except AP. Niharika Konidela delivered yet another flop (Suryakantham). 'Chikati Gadilo Chithakottudu' managed to get good revenue in the opening weekend due to adult content. 'Where Is The Venkatalakshmi' failed to impress.

April:

Majili-starring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha became a solid hit in the Summer. Sai Dharam Tej was back to form with 'Chitralahari'. Nani-starrer 'Jersey' is a highly-rated flick which stood as a decent hit. Lawrence showed his command of horror-comedy genre once again with 'Kanchana 3' which stunned trade pundits and critics inspite of weak content.

May:

Maharshi stood as the highest grosser in the career of Mahesh Babu but it failed to break Non-Bahubali record.

Allu Sirish-tarrer 'ABCD' and Teja's 'Sita' failed miserably. Vishwak Sen's 'Falaknuma Das' managed to get good openings in the Nizam region because of the backdrop.

June:

'RX 100' fame Karthikeya's 'Hippi' was a disappointment. Tapsee-starrer 'Game Over' was critically acclaimed but collections were poor. Even Priyadarshi's Mallesham is no different. Much-hyped 'Kalki' didn't meet the expectations. 'Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya' and 'Brochevarevarura' are the only two successful films in this month.
