Hollywood's popular filmmaker Manoj Night Shyamalan on Thursday took to Twitter and tweeted a throwback picture at the times where he directed his first film in Chennai.
Manoj Night Shyamalan is noted filmmaker and actor who directed films like, The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, The Village, Lady in the Water, The Last Airbender, After Earth and several other films.
He made his debut with Praying with Anger in 1992 which was shot in India. But the film didn't get enough attention and screened on only two theatres for a few days. After this, he made Wide Awake in 1998. He got a big breakthrough with 'The Sixth Sense' in 1999 and since then, the talented filmmaker surprised the audience with his films.
"Me directing my first film in Chennai, India at 21. #tbt It played in two theatres for a few weeks. #persevere," he captioned.
On the work front, Manoj Night Shyamalan last directed and bankrolled 'Glass'in 2019 and he is making two untitled projects for his next.
