How did Sunil miss lead role in Geethanjali?

Comedian-turned-Hero Sunil was supposed to play lead role in 'Geethanjali' but missed the opportunity. When Director Raja Kiran narrated the script to Bellamkonda Suresh, He agreed to produce it with Sunil as Hero. However, The filmmaker rejected the offer as he already gave a promise to Srinivas Reddy for the male lead.

It was only after the script reached Kona Venkat, Raja Kiran dream came true and 'Geethanjali' has become a successful film Today. Kona Venkat included Brahmi's Saitan Raj character and Shakalaka Shankar's role in the script.

Before entering Film Industry, Raja Kiran used to run a photo studio in Kaikalur. It was through Maganti Babu he entered into films and worked as assistant director in Raviraja Pinisetty's camp. He was an associate director for Jr NTR's debut flick 'Ninnu Choodalani'.

Soon, Raja Kiran will be directing a young hero and this project would be produced by a leading production house.
