How Ramesh Varma End Up Directing Rakshasudu?

Update: 2019-08-07 08:37 GMT
Ramesh Varma Penmetsa started his career as a graphic designer in Telugu Cinema and he became director with Oka Oorilo.

The movie ended up as a disaster and he made Ride with Nani, Tanish in 2009. Bellamkonda Suresh produced the movie and it is loosely based on Dhanush's Polladhavan.

The movie became a success and Suresh had good connections with the director. But he couldn't deliver a success with Veera starring Ravi Teja and Kajal Aggarwal.

He had to wait five years to release his next, Abbayi tho Ammayi with Naga Shourya as the lead. Movie once again became a disaster.

He formed a partnership with Havish and produced Seven, which he co-wrote with the actor, recently. But when no one expected, he delivered a solid remake of Ratchasan, Rakshasudu with Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas.

Well, the director has been trying to find a hero his story(s) from 2014 and he finally found Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Havish, it seems.

Bellamkonda Suresh asked the director to not experiment and make Rakshasudu remake with his son, even though the actor announced a love story in his direction.

Hence, the director on the condition of following the source without any deviation got the film offer and it has lut an end to his and actor's hit quest.

But the director is unhappy for people discrediting him for the film, as he is giving an example of how Shankar also failed to recreate 3 Idiots magic in Tamil remake when he delivered a solid film without spoiling the original.
