Update: 2020-12-23 07:14 GMT
The Mumbai police on Tuesday early hours conducted a raid on a club near the airport and booked 34 people including a few celebrities for allegedly violating COVID-19 prevention norms.

As per a report, cricketer Suresh Raina, Sussanne Khan, Badshah and Guru Randhawa were among those present at the party when the police raided the club. They were booked under sections 188, 269, and 34 of IPC, police said.

The former wife of Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan has now clarified her stand on the entire episode. She took to social media and issued a statement regarding the same. Captioning the post as 'my humble clarification', Sussanne wrote, 'Last night I was at a close friend's birthday dinner & a few of us extended to the Dragon Fly club at JW Marriott, Sahar. At 2.30 am the authorities entered the club. Whilst the club management and the authorities were sorting things out, all the guests present were asked to wait for a period of three hours. We were finally allowed to leave at 6 am. Therefore, the speculation by parts of the media that there were arrests made are completely incorrect and also irresponsible.'

Earlier, singer Guru Randhawa team has also issued a statement saying that the singer deeply regrets the unintentional incident.
