As we had reported earlier, the grand pre-release event of RRR was held the other day. The event was graced by Shivarajkumar, Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai, local MLA Sudhakar, and others.
One interesting observation about the event is that it had a heavy political touch to it from the start till the very end.
Firstly, both sets of fans resorted to display of power as they wished to exude enthusiasm. Jr NTR's fans were seen carrying TDP flags at the event and waving them. On the other hand, Ram Charan's fans were seen holding JanaSena fans at the arena and shouting JanaSena slogans.
Then, Rajamouli and the producer of RRR, Danayya DVV thanked the chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana - YS Jagan and KCR respectively. Tehre was a particularly good response from the common public when Jagan's name was bought up at the event.
Later, Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai came up with a well-rounded speech as he spoke about the philosophical range pertaining to RRR and he also spoke about how all sections of the audience should own RRR and watch the film in theatres from the 25th of this month.
All in all, there was political touch to RRR's event from the start till the end.
