Huge Ticket Prize To Affect 'Brahmastra'?

Update: 2022-09-03 14:58 GMT
It is very well known that the hike in ticket prizes have not gone down well with the audience. While they were ready to spend big bucks on movies like 'RRR' and 'KGF', the audience rejected star hero films too when the ticket rates were too high. The film industry faced a lot of issues due to this and were forced to reduce ticket rates in Telugu states. There was a situation where the filmmakers were announcing to public that the ticket rates for their film is not high.

It is without a doubt that 'Acharya' ended up as a huge disaster as people weren't interested in spending 300-400 rupees on a film that got negative reviews. Many biggies in July were also affected due to the high ticket prizes which made the film industry to reduce them immediately.

The movies in August did not have big rates and most of them were successful at the box office. The ticket rates of 'Liger' was a bit higher and we all know how it is running at the moment. The advance bookings of 'Brahmastra' were opened and the ticket prizes shocked the audience. With the team aggressively promoting it and the trailer impressing everyone, there is good buzz on the movie.

But the rates in Hyderabad multiplexes are around 325 rupees and it is crossing Rs 350 with internet charges combined. While the film is made on a huge budget of around 400 crores, it will be interesting to see if the Telugu audience show interest in spending such huge money on a Bollywood film or not. The collections may be high if the movie gets a positive talk but the situation will be so bad if it fails to reach the expectations. Let us wait and see what happens.
