Hyderabad Multiplexes learn from Shyam Singha Roy mistake

Update: 2022-02-09 10:20 GMT
Hyderabad Multiplexes flexed their muscles to the fullest strength upon the Government Order from Telangana State release before Nani's Shyam Singha Roy release in December.

They got permission to increase ticket price to a maximum of Rs. 290/- and they increased to the maximum level for every film.

This affected few screenings and occupancy rates for Nani film post the first weekend and other films like Arjuna Phalguna as well. Seems like the multiplexes have learnt their lesson.

Even though there are films like Khiladi, DJ Tillu releasing with maximum buzz this weekend they have decided to keep rates in check.

They are charging a maximum of Rs. 250 for Khiladi and DJ Tillu. They have finalised rates ranging from Rs. 250, Rs. 200 and Rs. 175 for all the four films at various areas within the city.

This week Khiladi, DJ Tillu, Sehari, FIR are releasing and trade is hoping for a good busy weekend post alike Sankranti season post long period of lull.
