‘I’ theatrical rights are a shocker

What is the price Shankar’s fantasy action flick “I” sold out for its Telugu version? Trade reports have that local producer NV Prasad and his other friends have invested around 35 crores to own the theatrical rights of Telugu dubbed version of “I” that has Vikram and Amy Jackson in the leads.

Though this is huge sum for a dubbed film to recover from theatres, local distributors are confident that the Sankranthi season release, January 14th is the date, will help them pocket good profits also. All in all, “I” should be a blockbuster all the way from first day first show to ensure that the buyers will be in safe havens.
