Salman Khan has always shown a keen interest in South films, having been a part of many such remakes over the years, including: , Wanted (Pokiri remake), Bodyguard (2011) and Ready (2011),Jai Ho [Stalin remake] .All of them became big hits and Salman became a superstar beyond reach at the box office.
His latest offering is Kick which is remake of Raviteja starrer and it has become a big success and collected over 100 crores in first three days.It is heard that Salman is quite impressed by the energy levels of the Mass Maharaja in the original version of film and as a result, he is now enquiring about Ravi Tejas past hits.One such film is Balupu which had Ravi Teja with Shruti Haasan and Anjali. According to sources Salman is now eyeing Balupu and wants to remake the film into Bollywood.
Sources added that Salman would be watching it a few times before he takes the call. If that happens, then it would a one more hit for super star because Balupu has a strong storyline with ample entertainment value. The other plus point for the film was Shruti Haasans glamour so if the remake thing works then chances of Shruti reprising her role also look high.
