Prajyarajyam Party is the official name that Megastar Chiranjeevi registered for his political party when he decided to join politics in 2008. He did contest in elections in 2009 and won 18 seats as well.

But he gave up on independent party idea in 2012 and joined Indian National Congress. He later took Rajya Sabha MP seat and then worked as Union Minister in UPA government.

Finally, he decided to quit politics and now, he has returned to films full time. The actor gave a huge comeback with Khaidi No 150 and followed it up with  historical Sye Raa for the first time in his long career.

Now, he has four films on sets and Godfather is a political drama among them. Godfather is the remake of Mohan Lal's Lucifer directed by Prithiviraj Sukumaran. The remake is being helmed by remake specialist and Hanuman Junction director, Mohan Raja.

Mohan Raja directed the original of Ram Charan's Dhruva, Thani Oruvan in Tamil to earn big recognition as a director other than remake expert. Well, Godfather has many surprises to offer like Salman Khan cameo appearance and now we can see that there is Janasena connection to the film as well.

Chiranjeevi's political party in the film is called Jana Jagruthi Party. This can be confirmed from the behind the scenes photo posted by Megastar Chiranjeevi himself on his social media handles.

The actor posted photos to say that he recovered fully from Corona virus infection and joined the sets of his films - Godfather, Bhola Shankar.
