There are very few Telugu heroines in Telugu.  It is sounds funny but is a serious thing.  Filmmakers have different reasons and calculations for casting Non-Telugu girls in their films.  When a Telugu girl like Eesha was given repeated chances by director Indraganti Mohan Krishna, there were several discussions going on about the possible reasons.  Some are expressing doubts about their relationship also.

Eesha is the heroine of Indraganti's latest film 'Ami Tumi'.  When Indragati recently conducted a pressmeet for the promotions of 'Ami Tumi',  reporters asked about casting Eesha in his films repeatedly.  Indraganti gave a detailed answer for casting Eesha continuously in his films.

He said that "Eesha is a Telugu girl.. she can talk Andhra.. Telangana slangs perfectly well.  Heroines speaking Telangana slang are very rare.  Moreover she is a good actress.  She has got all the qualities of my heroine.  Rather than casting a non-Telugu heroine.. training her in Telugu.. arranging another dubbing artiste.. I have choosen Eesha.  The roles are suitable to her in my previous films .. that's why I taken her as heroine.  Moreover I prefer Telugu actors in my films.  My films reflect Telugu flavour.  That's the reason why I give importance to Telugu actors".
