Megastar Chiranjeevi's huge project 'Acharya' directed by star filmmaker Koratala Siva has been under the making for a really long time. The makers have announced that the film is hitting the screens on 4th February without fail but the fans are still unsure about it. The small glimpse which came out on Charan’s birthday created a sensation and people are eager to watch the film. But rumours claim that 'Acharya' is going to get postponed till April.

According to sources, the team is planning to push the film till April as it would give them enough time to promote the film on a pan-Indian film. Every star hero is aiming to get a pan-Indian market lately and Megastar's last film 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' was released on a national level. The film failed to live up to the expectations in other languages due to poor promotions. Grapevine suggests that Ram Charan and his team are not going to let it happen this time.

As we know, Charan will be getting a pan-Indian market after the release of 'RRR' and the team of 'Acharya' is reportedly planning to capitalize on it. As the ‘Magadheera’ hero is playing a crucial role, the film has a lot of scope to perform well in the North market too. So, the team of 'Acharya' are aiming to release the film on April 1st as per reports. We need to wait and see if there is any official information regarding this or not.

Kajal Agarwal is the heroine for Chiranjeevi in 'Acharya' while Pooja Hegde will be seen romancing Charan. Mani Sharma is the music composer for this social drama and the lead actor will be seen as a Naxalite in this film. There are a lot of expectations on this movie and it is to be seen if Koratala maintains his 100% success record with 'Acharya' or not.

Chiranjeevi is also working on 'Godfather' which is a remake of 'Lucifer'. It is directed by Mohan Raja while he is also acting in 'Bholaa Shankar' under the direction of Meher Ramesh. He even okayed a movie with Bobby who made films like 'Power', 'Kai Lava Kusa' and others.
