Is Allu Arjun in talks with Director Bobby?

Update: 2019-12-14 10:37 GMT
Bobby made Power with Ravi Teja, Jai Lava Kusa with Jr. NTR, Sardar Gabbar Singh with Pawan Kalyan and Venky Mama with Venkatesh-Naga Chaitanya. But none of them have become blockbusters at the box office, Venky Mama result is still awaited.

Critics did not like even one of his films and as per trade experts, except for Power, none could earn their money back completely.

Venky Mama opened to a good response on first day but will it sustain beyond the weekend, as per initial reports, even producers are not entirely confident about it.

But the director, who works by his real name, K.S Ravindra and is known in film circles as Bobby, seems to be impressing stars with his stories.

Allu Arjun's ICON might have been shelved or postponed indefinitely for time being say sources. As Venu Sriram and Dil Raju are busy with Pink remake, starring Pawan Kalyan, this movie might have been put on back burner for now, say Industry sources.

Arjun has to do a film for Geetha Arts before 2021, as per an understanding with his father Aravind, it seems. Even though his family production house is co-producing his Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo and Sukumar's next, a solo production for them, is on the cards, it seems.

So, the actor is in talks with Bobby to start a film after June, when he is expected to complete Sukumar's film in 2020. According to the reports, he is also in talks with AR Murugadoss for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual but that movie won't start before Summer, 2021 it seems. Stay tuned for more updates.
