Is Mahesh Demanding Too Much?

Update: 2019-07-27 06:53 GMT
Mahesh Babu proved that he has a market that can sustain a 100 crores budget with Bharat Ane Nenu and Maharshi. But he did not give a resounding blockbuster with both the films.

Ceded area is weak for both the films and surprisingly USA underperformed for Maharshi. This trend did make producers wait to see his Sarileru Neekevvaru result which is said to be his massy commercial film after Aagadu.

But the actor has been asking 50 crores remuneration and is making himself a producer to attain that much amount for this film, it seems.

Dil Raju is not happy with that and even though he directly did not specify Mahesh, he did say that stars have to accept percentage in profits over a base pay rather than increasing their remuneration per film.

Mahesh has similar demands from other producers too and that is making them fear as his films cost 100 crores budget and his remuneration itself is more than half of it, now.

Well, we cannot just blame the actor for looking at market growth as an opportunity to make more money as even producers are looking at films as financial deals than real work of art that involves business.
