Is Nagarjuna's Temperament Becoming A Problem?

Update: 2018-09-29 10:08 GMT
Nagarjuna Akkineni is known for backing young directors and giving them big opportunities with great belief. He delivered duds and hits, with them. Hits have been so memorable that he kept encouraging young talent even though he faced duds.

Ever since  Bhai movie, Nag seems to have completely made it a point to talk about young directors at press meets and audio functions in a friendly yet stern tone that they are lacking and lagging behind.

He did say that Kalyan Krishna's movies Soggade Chinni Nayana and Rarandoyi Veduka Chuddam had to be corrected prior to release for them to be successes at the box office, even prior to release. In a way, this damaged the young director's reputation to deliver a hit on his own.

He made Nela Ticket with Ravi Teja without any influences but delivered a huge dud making Nag right. Veerabhadram Chowdary after Bhai is unable to recover as Nag is bringing up that movie in most of his interviews.

Recently, he slammed Sriram Adittya as lazy saying that he did not show him the movie till a week before the release date. The young director is feeling bad about this it seems.

Well, the buzz is that Nag is growing impatient with young directors who are not willing to work at such speed and quality he expects them to deliver at. So, even though he is laughing about it, he is giving it all back to them in open press meets, so that they understand what they lack.

But his temperament to not control his anger and blurt out the issue he has with them, in public has been harming their reputation too. Veerabhadram is no longer able to make movies, Sriram needs Devadas to be a huge blockbuster and Kalyan Krishna needs Bangarraju to strike big.

Even though Nag is being proved to be right, talking about his issues with directors publicly can cause a damage to his reputation. In fact, many believe that his frustration over Ram Gopal Verma and Officer as come out during Devadas! Hope Nag understands what is happening around him due to his words.
