Is Rajamouli Trying Science Fiction With Mahesh?

Update: 2022-04-15 08:19 GMT
If there is one director who can demand a budget of over 500 crores from a producer and makes him agree to it at the first meeting, it would be India's top director SS Rajamouli. The master storyteller proved his stamina once again with 'RRR' by minting over 1000 crores at the box office. It is his second 1000 crores movie after 'Baahubali 2' and he is growing big with each and every film.

After 'RRR', Rajamouli is currently in vacation mode and will be returning to work after a few months. As we all know, he is planning a film with superstar Mahesh Babu as the lead. It is going to be made on a bigger budget than 'RRR' and every movie lover is excited about it. There was a news that he is thinking of making an action-adventure flick set in African forests. But nothing has been confirmed till date.

The latest update suggests that Rajamouli is reportedly planning a spy thriller which is going to be along the lines of the James Bond franchise. It is a role that every fan wants to see Mahesh in. They hoped 'Spyder' would be one such film but Murugadoss had other plans. Knowing the elevation scenes Rajamouli designs, people are expecting the master director to present Mahesh in a never seen manner.

The interesting fact is that Rajamouli is thinking of including a science fiction element in the story. Insiders say that the film may take place in the future or time travel may be a crucial part. We need to wait till we get more clarity on this. Right now, Rajamouli is yet to begin the script work.

Mahesh has completed the talkie part of 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' with only a song left to shoot. Parasuram is the director while Keerthy Suresh is the heroine. It is hitting the screens on 12th May 2022. Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta are producing this film under Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Plus banners along with GMB Entertainments. R Madhi handles the cinematography, while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor and AS Prakash takes care of the art department.
