Update: 2019-12-05 07:36 GMT
Ranbir Kapoor is looking to take up action oriented roles as he established himself as a boy-next-door and lover boy with killer acting chops.

His Sanju ended the box office rut he had been facing till the time of release and even won him Filmfare award for playing Sanjay Dutt's real life character on screen.

Rajkumar Hirani, the director of the film is looking forward to collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan and he also moved away from Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films after their dispute regarding #MeToo allegations against the director.

Ranbir is busy with Brahmastra and Shamshera, two big budget films. After these two, he was reported to have given nod to Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Devil and Luv Rangan's next.

Now, the news reports suggest that Ranbir might walk out of Sandeep's film as the script that the young director sent him, did not impress the actor.

The reports also suggest that actor is thinking about the reputation of the director also in the media and is in two minds to whether take the plunge and do the film or just skip the offer.

T-Series is trying to set up this crazy combination and the Bollywood reports haven't confirmed this development yet. We have to wait for Sandeep's official word on this film. He never confirmed casting of the film.

He wants to prove that Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh are not just one-time wonders and he has lot more to offer as a director. Let's wait and track all the developments. Stay tuned with us in this exercise.
