'Saaho' missed the Independence Day deadline. Makers will have to go in search of another release date to get the best result. Why did the delay actually happened?
The agenda behind attempting a film like 'Saaho' is to take Indian Cinema to the next level, on par with Hollywood when it comes to high technical values. That is why Hollywood Technicians were roped and reputed Visual Effects Agencies had been hired. However, Rendering of the Visual Effects shots is yet to get completed. The rendering work was shifted from Mumbai to Bangalore Facility but the lack of required number of Technicians resulted in the delay. The delay in the arrival of experts from Mumbai prompted Producers to take a tough decision.
Speculations had surfaced that 'Saaho' release was postponed to avoid clash with Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal and John Abraham's Batla House. That's not true as 'Saaho' could have received the highest screen count inspite of the clash because T-Series is releasing the Hindi version and also due to the craze for Prabhas. While Films of Akshay and John appeals to a limited section of people, Saaho is a universal film.
