Victory Venkatesh is never shy of attempting remakes. He scored a lot of successes through remakes. He remade 'Sala Khadoos' as 'Guru' while he is currently making 'Narappa' which is the Telugu version of Tamil flick 'Asuran'. He remade 'Drushyam' in 2014 which turned out to be a very good hit. The unique storyline and thrilling narration impressed the viewers.

Now, the makers of original version have come up with 'Drishyam 2' which released on Amazon Prime recently. The film is receiving a lot of accolades and everyone is praising the gripping screenplay and perfect performances from Mohan Lal & Co. There were many doubts whether Venkatesh would opt for remaking this sequel or not as many people can watch the original on the OTT platform with the help of subtitles.

But it seems like Venkatesh decided to remake the sequel after all. The shooting will start from 6th March and it will go on non-stop for 50-60 days. The makers are planning to wrap up the shooting as quickly as they can and release it before 'F3'. The official confirmation came out a while ago and actors who were seen in the first part will be coming onboard again for this sequel.
