Story of First Telugu Heroine In Hyderabad

Veteran Actress Jamuna is one of the senior heroines in Telugu film industry who made an impressive mark in the south as well as north. The actress who was born in Hampi was raised in Tenali and Duggirala. She later turned out to be a competitor for the number one place in the glamour field. She is the only competitor for Mahanati Savitri and both of them had a healthy relationship between themselves.

The 81-year-old actress is still active and interacted with a youtube channel recently. She said that she became heroine at the age of 16 and acted in almost 200 films. She said that she is the first heroine of Hyderabad city and also revealed a short story related to the same. The actress revealed that when the film industry was brought to Hyderabad, Sarathi Studios was the first one to be established in here 1959. They shot their first film Maa Inti Maha Lakshmi and she was roped in to play the heroine role. The film Maa Inti Maha Lakshmi is produced by Gangadhar Rao and later the actress was also seen in the films like Pellikani Pillalu and Jalsa Rayudu. That's how she has become the first heroine in Hyderabad.

Later in 1975, Akkineni Nageswara Rao established Annapurna studios and hence we have come to know that Sarathi Studios is the one to establish in Hyderabad and Jamuna was introduced by them.
