Bollywood diva Janhvi Kapoor, who has been shooting for 'Good Luck Jerry', became the target of farmers' anger while she was shooting in Punjab this week.

On the very first day of the shoot, the movie team was interrupted by a group of farmers. It is already known that India is facing heat from the farmers' agitation against the three contentious agriculture laws. The farmers had surrounded the crew and demanded the actor to make a public statement supporting the protesting farmers.

According to police, it was a peaceful protest and mutually resolved after Janhvi Kapoor assured her support. Taking to Instagram, the actress wrote, "'Farmers are at the heart of our country. I recognise and value the role that they play in feeding our nation. I hope a resolution is reached soon that benefits the farmers".

The film is produced by filmmaker Anand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions and directed by Sidharth Sengupta.
