Janhvi Kapoor Talks About Using Painkillers For 'Mili'!

Young beauty Janvhi Kapoor is trying hard to prove herself as an actress apart from just being a glamorous girl. She is choosing challenging scripts. After 'Gunjan Saxena' which came out on Netflix, she remade Nayanthara's 'Kolammavu Kokila' as 'Good Luck Jerry'. This movie was released directly on Disney + Hotstar and got a decent response. Now, she remade another South Indian film. This time, it is a Malayalam film titled 'Helen' which had Anna Ben playing the lead role.

It got remade in Hindi as 'Mili' with Janvi Kapoor is the lead and Mathukutty Xavier who directed the Malayali version has handled the megaphone for its Hindi version too. 'Helen' is a film that was loved by the audience all over the nation and won a lot of critical acclaim. It will be interesting to see how Janhvi Kapoor does this role.

The 'Dhadak' actress is busily promoting this movie which is hitting the screens on 4th November. In an interview, Janhvi Kapoor talked about the hardships she went through while doing this character. She reportedly gained 7.5 kilos for this movie and spent around 15 hours inside the freezer daily. Janhvi said, "For the majority of the day, my role involved crying inside that freezer and that took a toll on my mental health. When I reach home, I used to feel like still inside that freezer only. When I fell ill during the shoot, I took severe painkillers for 2-3 days."

Produced by Janhvi's dad Boney Kapoor, legendary AR Rahman is the music composer while Javed Akhtar penned the lyrics. Sunil Karthikeyan is the director of photography while Ritesh Shah took care of the adapted screenplay and dialogues. Let us see if Janhvi gets her critical acclaim with this movie or not.
