Jayalalithaa's Medical Records made public

Tamil Nadu Government on Monday released the 12 page medical records of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa to put the speculations to rest.

As per the report, Jayalalithaa suffered a massive cardiac arrest on December 4th and passed away on December 5th. After she suffered cardiac arrest, Jaya was provided ECMO and all possible measures were taken for reviving her condition. However, Life Support wasn't fruitful in this case. The best medical care was provided to Amma during her 75 days stay in the Apollo Hospital.

Tamil Nadu Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan clarifies allegations on Jayalalithaa's treatment & death are completely baseless. He further added, The Government decided to disclose the discharge summary received from Apollo Hospitals and Medical Reports received from AIIMS only to end the unnecessary speculations.

O Panneerselvam alleged all of his attempts to shift Jayalalithaa abroad for better medical assistance failed because of Sasikala. Tamil Nadu Health Minister questioned why didn't OPS reveal it when he was the CM and order for a probe.
