Legal Action on Agnyaathavaasi: Largo Winch Director

Update: 2018-01-19 04:26 GMT
Since the launch of First Look Teaser, 'Agnyaathavaasi' Team has been facing plagiarism charges as people drawn comparisons with French Flick 'Largo Winch'. Jerome Salle who directed the original had watched the Pawan Kalyan-starrer on Day 1 after the buzz on social media caught his attention. Post the screening, He told the Telugu Film could have been more enjoyable had if there weren't too many similarities with his movie.

And now, Jerome Salle took to Twitter to convey that he decided to send Legal Notice to the makers of 'Agnyaathavaasi' after they failed to respond to his query. 'So let's take action now. #LegalNotice,' he wrote apart from saying Indian Cinema has all the necessary talent and creativity for not having to plagiarize.

Reportedly, T-Series has obtained the remake rights of 'Largo Winch' for Indian languages. Agnyaathavaasi Team reached a compromise with this production house prior to the release by paying around Rs 10 crore. If this is true by any chance, The French Director could gain nothing from the Legal Action as it's been made in Telugu alone despite worldwide release.
