Some people tend to go into a theatre after reading critics reviews of a film and then form an opinion based on the film they saw with a preconceived notion that was built by reviews. Many times, such opinions turn out to be ill-informed or fed upon by someone else's views.
Rarely, we see people deciding to disagree with all due respect and diligence. Kanika Dhillon, daughter-in-law of Legendary director, K.Raghavendra Rao voiced her opinion on Kabir Singh which she said she had to change, after watching the film.
She said that she entered the theatre ready to dislike and cringe but then she loved the film. She further stated that she respects critics views which did influence her before entering the theatre but she disagreed with them respectfully after watching the movie.
She remarked that the every director has their own personal way to structure a narrative and showcase a character. She loved the creative representation of Kabir Singh who is flawed and did not think that Preeti was a pushover.
She pointed out that Preeti is indeed smart and bold but she did not speak out or articulate affluently which doesn't mean that she is submissive. She congratulated the team on such a massive success.
