Kajal's Queen Remake In Censor Trouble

Update: 2019-08-07 05:29 GMT
Producer Manu Kumaran of Mediente Films planned to make 'Queen' remake in all the South Indian Languages with different Actress and Director for each version. 'Paris Paris', the Tamil remake starring Kajal Agarwal and Directed by Ramesh Aravind, is now in troubled waters.

Kannada (Butterfly) and Malayalam (Zam Zam) Versions were cleared by Censor Boards with no cuts. There is no now clue when the Telugu remake 'That Is Mahalakshmi' will be releasing.  Tamil version is now facing censor issues.

After the screening, Censor Members felt bold scenes such as Elli Avram grabbing Kajal's breast and dialogues are way beyond the Tamil Sensibilities. They refused to clear the film without multiple cuts. Makers, however, felt the essence of the film will be lost with removal of key portions. They are now keen to approach the Revised Committee for clearance.
