When Kalyan skipped Meals & failed to pay Rent?

Inspite of being the brother of MM Keeravani, Kanyan Konduri had to face several hardships to earn a niche for himself in Film Industry. He was always against using family background or good reputation earned by his brother. Instead, Choose the toughest path to gain foothold in TFI.

Kalyan Konduri sold out a piece of land he owns in his village to fulfill his dream of becoming a composer. He tried for opportunities in Mumbai first but was unsuccessful and had to return home with just Rs 300 for train ticket. At one point, He skipped meals to save money and wasn't in a position to pay the rent of Rs 2,200.

Even though 'Aithe' was his first break, Filmmakers haven't approached him even after receiving huge critical acclaim and box office success. Rumours that he is demanding Rs 50 lakh per film after 'Aithe' ruined his dreams.

Finally, Kalyan Konduri earned the recognition he wanted with 'Ala Modalaindhi' and 'Oohalu Gusagusalaade'. His next release is 'Kalyana Vaibhogame' directed by Nandini Reddy.
