Kanche goes to Bollywood

'Kanche', the first Indian film with World War II backdrop, is now getting a Hindi remake.

On Thursday, Four Private Screenings of 'Kanche' were held for decision makers in leading production houses Fox Star, Eros and Reliance. Director Krish who is currently in Mumbai was present at the time of these multiple screenings,
Apparently, Akshay Kumar is keen on playing the lead in Hindi remake and he even book a slot for special screening of 'Kanche'. Both Akshay and Krish share a good rapport since they worked for 'Gabbar' (Hindi remake of Tagore).

Krish has committed to work for two Bollywood production houses after 'Gabbar'. So, It would be interesting to see whether he would direct the remake or picks a new script for his next venture.

Meanwhile, Makers are planning to screen 'Kanche' in International Film Festivals and dub the film in German for a grand release all over Europe.
