Kangana calls AIIMS Director taking vaccine jab wonderful

The nation-wide vaccination drive against the novel Coronavirus was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, through video conferencing.

All the states and Union Territories gave top preference for the health care workers and Corona warriors in the first phase of the vaccination drive. Health workers of both state-run and private hospitals were given the vaccine dose.

The vaccine drive in the national capital Delhi was started by administering the vaccine dose to sanitation worker Manish Kumar, making him the first recipient of the vaccine in the country.

After Manish Kumar, All India Medical Institute (AIIMS) director Dr. Randeep Guleria took the vaccine dose, in the presence of Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut reacted to Randeep Guleria taking the vaccine dose as a bid to inculcate confidence among the public in the country to get administered with the vaccine.

Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter and shared a video byte of Guleria taking the vaccine dose. She called the development Wonderful!! Can’t wait with an emoji of folded hands.

According to the information, 81 vaccination centers were selected across 11 districts in the national capital. The centers include six state-run hospitals and private hospitals.
