Heroine Says- It's Me After Sridevi

Bollywood heroine & National Award winner Kangana Ranaut often hits the headlines with her frank statements and controversies.  Her statements about nepotism lead to a big discussion few days back.  She told that outsiders like her are facing troubles in Bollywood due to nepotism.  Her latest film 'Manikarnika' has already landed into controversy.  She has made sensational remarks during the promotions of her upcoming film 'Simran' again.

She told that 'Simran' is a comedy film not a biopic. She commented that no heroine has excelled in comedy in this generation and no heroine is doing it. "After Sridevi, I'm the only heroine who has done comedy in our generation.. Datto, Manu characters in Tanu Weds Manu.. Simran now.. It's me after Sridevi ji.  I don't understand why people treat women.. and comedy heroines as second grade in this country".

Director Rajkumar Hirani once told that he wanted to produce a movie on standup comedian.  Kangana probably eyeing on that film. Meanwhile There is a buzz in the Bollywood media that Kangana said to have pressurized 'Simran' director Hansal Mehta to give her title credit in the writing.
