We have all seen, how disruptive Karni Sena turned out to be protesting against Padmavathi movie, announcing bounty on Deepika's nose and Bhansali's head.

They forced the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar to ban the movie. It is like they promoted the movie by their agitations more than the producers would have imagined.  They slapped Bhansali, demolished the sets and burned down the buses and screens.

In the end, they apologised to the makers and accepted that the movie is a tribute to Rajput valour and asked the banned states to release it. Because of their protests, the movie became Padmaavat and had to undergo some 27 censor cuts to get a release.

Now, Sarwa Brahmin Mahasabha is getting ready to agitate against Rani Lakshmi Bai movie, Manikarnika starring Kangana Ranaut.

They are alledging that the makers are showing a relationship between a Britisher and Rani Lakshmi Bai, as the movie is based on a book written by a British author.

The makers have come forward immediately to answer these allegations and producer, Kamal Jain, said that the movie makers have given Government an affidavit regarding the story and once they have got clearance that their script doesn't have any historical distortions they have started production.

The movie has completed almost 90% of shoot and Krrish Jagarlamudi is directing the film, who made Kanche, Gautamiputra Satakarni in Telugu. Baahubali writer, Vijayendra Prasad wrote screenplay for this movie.
