Kangana Ranaut officially announced her Directorial Debut 'Teju'. She not only penned the script but took the responsibility to produce it by herself on Manikarnika Films banner.
To everyone's shock, Kangana essays the role of an 80-Year-Old in her debut. 'Teju is an 80-Year-Old Woman who is full of life and feels young at heart. This Movie is about every senior citizen I knew. You could even see a lot about Me as I am older than my age,' she says.
Being raised by her great grandparents, Kangana is well aware of the hardships Elderly People face in their day-to-day life. 'My Great Grandmother was in her 80s when I was born. It pains me to see how senior citizens get ignored in the society or country,' complains the Actress.
'Teju' goes on floors in December 2017 and slated for release towards the end of 2018. Shooting is being planned near Himalayas to depict lifestyle of people in such hilly areas.
