On December 23rd this year, we are going to witness another biopic on Bollywood screens after we have seen the likes of Mary Kom, Milkha Singh and Dhoni. This time it belongs to wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat.
Titled "Dangal", the film has Amir Khan in the lead playing Mahavir Phogat, who trained his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat in a way they gold and silver medals respectively at 2010 Commonwealth Games. After watching the final version of the film other day, producer-director Karan Johar tweeted, "Just saw Dangal...haven't seen a better film in a decade⦠speechless!!!!"
With a big filmmaker like Karan himself certifying this Amir Khan's film, no doubt we can't wait to watch it in theatres.
