Kareena Kapoor Khan doesn't mince her words and shy away from answering any kind of queries. The 'Bodyguard' Beauty who were present for the HT Summit held in New Delhi on Friday shared her views on objectifying women in Bollywood and the role of item numbers in this aspect.
In the first place, Kareena don't feel women are objectified in Bollywood. According to her, People who comment against item songs are hypocritical as songs like 'Baby Doll', 'Chikni Chameli' and 'Fevicol Se' are played at every party, wedding and night club.
The Married Heroine says she don't understand why people don't accept the fact when they themselves enjoy such songs at their weddings. 'Having item songs isn't disgraceful. In fact, People complain whenever a film doesn't have such dance numbers,' she declares.
Wasn't Kareena Kapoor's point of view an eye-opener for the haters? What do you think guys?
