Kathi Mahesh didn't mind saying 'Agnyaathavaasi is the worst film in the careers of Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan after the screening. According to him, 'Serious Katha Ki Comedy Kadhanam Tho Chikakupetti Cinema Nu Apahasyam Chesina Cinema Agnyaathavaasi'.
In his recent interview, The Anchor asked the Critic if the Distributors and Exhibitors should demand compensation from Pawan Kalyan. Kathi Mahesh, however, felt the culture of Heroes returning a part of their remunerations would set a bad precedent in the Industry. Instead, He wants the Industry to develop a certain mechanism to ensure Producer doesn't quote sky-high prices and Distributors doesn't lose much even if the film is a flop. 'In the financial matters, Producer alone can be held responsible. Unless the Producer says the budget increased because of the Hero, We can't hold Pawan Kalyan responsible,' he says.
Surprisingly, Kathi Mahesh advises Pawan Kalyan to do one more film before entering full-time politics because even his Fans weren't happy with 'Agnyaathavaasi'.
Whereas Fans say, 'Pawan Kalyan hardly bothers about success and failure of the movie. He keeps saying people should watch his film if they like it or else ignore it completely. Jana Sena Chief believes welfare of the people is much important than the success of a movie'.
