There was a talk from the past few days that Keerthy Suresh is going to be paired up with Mahesh Babu in 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata'. But she recently denied these rumours and said that the project is still in the talks stage. It has been two years since Keerthy entertained the audience in Telugu after 'Mahanati' and she did not act in Tamil too.
She did a lot of hard work for 'Penguin' but the film is releasing on OTT platform due to shut down of the theatres. Insiders say that she wants to give preference to quality over star power. Casting directors say that she wants to act in memorable films which bring her good name. Talk is that she is choosing medium level films over star hero films as films of big stars doesn't give a lot of prominence to heroine characters.
On the other hand, stars proved to be unlucky for Keerthy Suresh. She acted with Pawan Kalyan in 'Agnyathavaasi', 'Sarkar' with Vijay, 'Saami 2' with Vikram and another Mohan Lal film. Sadly, all these films failed at the box-office which is why she is giving importance to medium range hero films where she can get decent roles.
