National award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh has had two releases during the lockdown but unfortunately, none of them impressed the movie buffs. Her thriller film 'Penguin' which released on Amazon Prime got very poor reviews and was declared a flop by everyone.
Since Keerthy has a lot of craze, the satellite rights were sold for a decent amount. Though the film was a disaster in the OTT arena, many thought that it would get decent ratings on television but 'Penguin' proved them wrong. It was premiered on 29th November and managed to get a mere 3.64 TRP rating. Films like 'Race Gurram' and 'Prathi Roju Pandage' which were broadcasted at the same time got better ratings than Keerthy Suresh's thriller film which explains a lot.
Her other film 'Miss India' which released on Netflix too bagged negative talk. Her next film 'Good Luck Sakhi' is also expected to have an OTT release and we need to wait and see how it fares. She is currently getting ready to work with Mahesh Babu in the most-anticipated film 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata'.
