The much-awaited 'KGF Chapter - 2' will be hitting the screens on the 14th of April. This is the biggest film in the career of Rocking Star Yash as well as director Prasanth Neel. It is canned on a large scale and the grandeur can be seen in the trailer. The first part has set the stage for the second chapter to set the cash registers ringing. The cast has gone bigger this time too with Raveena Tandon as the Prime Minister, Sanjay Dutt as main villain Adheera, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh and others becoming a part of this massive project.

This pan-Indian project is released grandly in the US market too and the advance booking has begun already. Trade pundits explain that the Telugu version is getting a better reception in terms of ticket sales when compared to the original Kannada version. News is that the Telugu version is releasing in more screens than Kannda version and about 85% of the sales are for Telugu shows while the rest 15% are for other versions including Kannda.

Coming to the Indian market, the Telugu version is going to be very crucial as it is getting released in a huge number of theatres. Barring Karnataka, most of the revenue from South India for 'KGF Chapter 2' is expected to arrive from Telugu states. While the collections are usually low in Kerala, the release of Vijay's 'Beast' will affect 'KGF - 2' in Tamil Nadu. When it comes to the Hindi market, it may get good openings but a lot depends on the first day first show talk. As we know, 'RRR' got 20 crores on the first day despite such huge promotions. But the super positive talk helped the film to cross 200 crores in the North market alone. We need to wait and see how the audience embraces 'KGF - 2' in the North market.

Produced by Homebale Films, Srinidhi Shetty will be seen as the heroine in the second chapter too. Fans are eager to see Rocky Bhai on the big screen after 4 years and let us see what Prasanth Neel has in store this time.

The director has completed this film long back and started working on 'Salaar' with Prabhas since last year. His future as one of the big names in the South depends on the verdict of 'KGF - 2'.
