Legendary director, Kodi Ramakrishna's death, has shocked the entire film industry and pushed it into a depressed state. Various actors and technicians from the Tollywood offered their final respects to the director who made more than 100 films in his four-decade-old career.
His demise sadly coincided with the release of NTR: Mahanayakudu. Kodi Ramakrishna is a massive fan of NTR. Though he didn't work with the ace actor, they share a good bond. Once he also narrated a script to NTR and everything was finalized, but later it was dropped when the latter became the Chief Minister for the second time.
In one of his last interviews, Kodi Ramakrishna said that he opposes the idea of making biopics. The director feels that few people's lives should be in the memories of the public and one should not take it on the silver screen as it may lead to many other interpretations. But when he came to know that Balakrishna is making his father's biopic, he appreciated Balayya and told the latter that he was the right one to do his father's film.
