Kolleru locals move Joint Collector against Republic Film!

After facing a lot of issues, Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej starrer Republic had hit the theatres last week. The fans and audiences were happy with the film and the makers are receiving appreciation for their efforts. However, the film had faced unwanted trouble.

As fresh trouble for the film, the locals of Kolleru village were not happy with Republic film and had sought the removal of a few scenes in which it was shown that the fishes were farmed with chemicals. Such scenes will harm the reputation of the village that is into fish farming.

A few residents of Kolleru village had met the Elluru Joint Collector expressing their dissatisfaction over the scenes. They said that farmers would face a lot of issues with such films and requested the Joint Collector to see that the objectionable scenes were removed from the film.

This is the new trouble faced by Republic film. Speaking at the pre-release event of Republic, Power Star Pawan Kalyan had made many heads turn and his comments had created a storm in Tollywood on the online movie tickets row.

Republic film that was supposed to hit the theatres long back went on to delay due to the novel Coronavirus. Ahead of the release of the film, Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident and was hospitalized.
