Superstar Mahesh Babu and star writer-director Koratala Siva share a great camaraderie with each other. They worked on two films namely 'Srimanthudu' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu'. Both of them turned out to be blockbusters and came at a point of time when Mahesh was suffering from flops. Mahesh has a lot of respect for Koratala and showcased it at many public events.
Speaking about Mahesh during a recent interview, Koratala explained how Mahesh offered help during a crucial time in the production stage of 'Acharya'. As we know, Koratala got stuck with 'Acharya' for four years while Mahesh released a film and lined up two films in the meanwhile. When they met casually, Mahesh questioned Koratala about the delay.
When Koratala explained it, Mahesh reportedly said he is available at all times. Mahesh added that the role should be done by Charan but if things didn't go as planned, he is always ready to help Koratala. This explains the kind-hearted nature of Mahesh Babu and the love he has towards his 'Srimanthudu'. Apparently, Mahesh didn't even listen to the story but offered to do the special role if needed. This explains a lot about the superstar.
With Charan doing the special role, Mahesh has given the voiceover for 'Acharya' which will be used as an introduction. This high-budget social drama is hitting the screens on 29th April. Produced by Matinee Entertainments banner, Chiranjeevi's wife Surekha Konidela is presenting this film. Pooja Hegde will be romancing Charan in this movie.
Mani Sharma is the music composer. There are a lot of noted artists in this project which takes place in a fictional village named Dharmasthali. Written and directed by Koratala Siva, Thirunavikkarasu is the cinematographer while Navin Nooli is the editor.
