Koratala Siva Irked With The Current Situation!

Update: 2022-01-28 13:58 GMT
Koratala Siva is one of the most highly regarded writer-directors in Tollywood right now. He made his directorial debut with Prabhas' 'Mirchi' which was his career-best prior to 'Baahubali'. He gave superstar Mahesh Babu two blockbusters like 'Srimanthudu' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu' which came at a stage when the star hero was suffering from flops. His 'Janatha Garage' with NTR minted huge collections and turned out to be a super hit. Naturally, when he announced a movie with Megastar, the trade pundits expected a record-breaking film. Right from the moment go, 'Acharya' had a lot riding on its back.

The teaser and songs are getting a huge positive response from the audience but the film is not hitting the screens due to continuous postponements. The virus outbreak has affected Koratala Siva's career quite badly as he has been stuck with 'Acharya' for the past 4 years and he is unable to get out of it. He announced a pan-Indian project with NTR and sources say that he is ready to give a huge update about it.

But insiders claim that he is being stopped by the teams of 'Acharya' and 'RRR'. According to the reports, the team of 'Acharya' feels that the director moving on even before the release may shed a bad light on the film. On the other hand, the team of 'RRR' is making sure that no other movie of NTR will be taking the limelight especially when the release of this magnum opus is fast approaching. With his hands tied, Koratala Siva is reportedly upset over the turn of events. We need to see when 'Acharya' hits the screens and when Koratala moves on to his next.

'Acharya' is a social drama with happens in a fictional village named 'Dharmasthali'. The film deals with corruption in temples and has a Naxalist angle attached to it too. Ram Charan is playing the role of Siddha and his role will be one of the biggest strengths of this movie. Mega fans are eager to watch this father-son duo on the big screens. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine for Chiru while Pooja Hegde will be seen romancing Ram Charan. The music is composed by Mani Sharma and this high-budget film is expected to hit the screens on 1st April.
