Kota Srinivasa Rao is the one who is fighting for the upliftment of Telugu Artistes in Telugu Film Industry since many years. The recent comments of this Acclaimed Actor certainly makes sense.
Speaking to media, Kota Srinivasa Rao told: 'I am not against the Non-Telugu Actors working in Straight Telugu Films. The point is whether they are worth it or not. Nobody questions if a promising actor like Nana Patekar is roped to play a role in a Telugu Movie. But, Is it acceptable to bring Second-Grade Actors and make us play their Assistants? Are they really worth the lakhs or crores being offered? This system has to change. You need Mother's Milk to grow physically, You need Mother Tongue to grow culturally. Hopefully, The Newly elected MAA Members will take corrective measures to ensure Telugu Artistes receive due prominence'.
The outburst of Kota Srinivasa Rao is making the people think. MAA President Naresh told, 'For 10 years, I remained workless. So, I know the pain of artistes. Will do the needful to improve the situation'.
