Director Krish Jagarlamudi, who impressed the audience with his period films like Gautamiputra Satakarni and Kanche, is currently working on a rural themed film with Rakul Preet Singh and Vaishnav Tej. Rakul Preet and Krish, who participated in Samantha's Sam Jam show, revealed some interesting things in this regard.

Krish said that there is a big story behind the film being made with Rakul Preet Singh. One night he read a book called Konda Polam and couldn't sleep all day. He immediately phoned his partner Rajiv Reddy and said that he wanted to make a movie based on the book.

But, Krish is locked with Pawan Kalyan's big project. Usually, most of the heroes does not allow their directors to start a new project keeping aside the ongoing project. But Pawan Kalyan agreed for Krish's appeal and allowed him to make a quicky before he joins the sets.

With the coronavirus lockdown, everyone postponed their shootings. At this pandemic time, he started shooting for Konda Polam story. Krish said that he persuaded Pawan Kalyan that he would complete the film in 45 days. After getting the nod from the Vakeel Saab actor, he roped Rakul and Vaishnav Tej for the film.
