KAY: Second Biggest Opener, But 40% Less Than MCA

Even before 'Rangasthalam' hungama subsided at the box office, Natural Star Nani's latest flick 'Krishanarjuna Yuddham' hit the screens on Thursday.  Considering Nani's terrific form and summer season, many people expected that the movie will have a flying start at the box office but it has settled down with average openings.

If we talk about the opening collection of two Telugu states, 'Krishnarjuna Yuddham' grossed Rs, 7.25 crores on the first day.  The share is Rs. 4.57 crores.  It is the second biggest opener for Nani in his career.  His last film 'MCA' has collected Rs. 7.6+ crores share on the opening day. If we compare the opening day collections of 'Krishnarjuna Yuddham' with 'MCA', there is a drop of 40% in the openings.   

The worldwide share is approximately around Rs.5.8 crores on the first day whereas MCA share was almost touched Rs.10 crores.  Let us have a look at the area-wise collection figures.
