Star actress Kriti Sanon is playing a surrogate mother role in her upcoming Hindi film 'Mimi.'
While speaking about this film, the actress revealed that she gained over 15 Kgs to fit in the role. As she forced herself to eat, she had lost interest in food.
"We had to shoot the pregnancy scenes and Laxman sir was very clear that it was necessary to gain weight for those scenes because he didn't want the character to have a chiselled face," Kriti said.
This drama film is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. This film is said to be the remake of Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy! Alongside with Kriti, Pankaj Tripathi and Sai Tamhankar will be featured in this film.
