Telangana IT Minister KTR stated that is not a political movie but a love story. Director Koratala Siva and hero Mahesh Babu also attended the press meet with KTR. When KTR asked what homework Mahesh did to play the role of the chief minister, the hero said he hasn't done any homework and just acted as per the script. When Koratala Siva first met him with the script he stated that it is a love story and hasn't used the word political at all but later he came up with a script which is enough to make a movie of 5 hours.
"Love story need not be only the love between a girl and a boy. It is a story of a person who loves his philosophy and the work he does. There is the love of a man who leaves his girlfriend just because he doesn't want her to get insulted because of him. So, this is definitely a love story.
