The release hurdles for Ram Gopal Varma's Lakshmi's NTR haven't ended yet as the film is still struggling to release in Andhra Pradesh. Already, it was postponed multiple times in the state due to the ongoing Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. The makers have planned to release it after the polls but even that plan failed.
Now, the Election Commission has ordered that the movie can't be released until May 19. Re-polling will be conducted in a few booths of Chandragiri constituency on the 19th of this month. Thus, the EC ordered the election commission of Andhra Pradesh to stall the release of the film.
It also said that if makers release it without following the orders, punishable charges will be taken up against them. Thus, it has now become clear that there is no chance for the film to get released in AP before the results of the elections come out.
