Lata Mangeshkar thanked her millions of fans for their best wishes and she also said that she is doing well with the blessings of her parents.

After 28 days of stay in Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai, she returned back to her residence on 9th December.
Her family released a statement stating that she was diagnosed with pneumonia and doctors preferred for her to stay in the hospital until she was completely fit.
On 9th December she returned to her home with three Nurses to look after her. Legendary actor, Dilip Kumar expressed great relief and happiness to see his "younger sister" fit and healthy.
We too wish the Nightingale of India, all the great health and we would love to see her complete a century and live beyond too. Already, her numerous songs have made her eternal, her crossing 100 would be a silver lining to it.
